Step into pure serenity right in the middle of Midtown at Blue Medspa, the newest and coolest full-service medical spa to hit this area of town. While the concept of being able to get body wraps, Botox® injections and blow-dries all under one roof isn't a new one, Blue MedSpa's approach definitely breaks ground. The decor is modern and minimalist, boasting beautiful blue hues that complement both chocolate and white base tones. Owner John Stupka wanted to create a relaxed, customer-oriented and unique spa environment for his guests. He achieved that goal and then some. Uniqueness rules here. For one thing, the lobby doubles as a special-event facility. And another: Massage and body treatment prices are based on the amount of time you are there, no on the treatment itself. Also, when you book your appointment, you don't have to know which treatment you want: just decide when you arrive. And finally, don't try to tip; it's not allowed.
