Latanya Mumford
Spa Director
Latanya Mumford, Spa Director, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended BayState College where she graduated with a degree in Computer Science. She then followed her true love and passion for styling hair and attended New England Hair Academy in Malden, Ma where she became a Licensed Cosmetologist.
Latanya began her career as an Assistant at Lepli Day Spa in Arlington, MA. She then had the opportunity to train as a Front Desk Coordinator. Taking on this new role she desired to be a fulltime administrator and has held many positions such as: Front Desk Manager, Patient Coordinator, and Spa Director. While managing the operation and assisting with the build out of new spas and salons, her knowledge in the Spa Industry grew further.
Latanya joined the BLUE MedSpa team in June 2007 as the Guest Services Manager. She managed the operation, provided follow-up contact for training, initiated new product lines, and specialized in product knowledge to increase the retail sales. Due to her leadership and expertise, Latanya has grown with the company and has since taken on the role of Spa Director.
Latanya loves living in Atlanta with her daughter Latatiana (TiTi), although she misses her family in Boston, MA. She passes time by going to the movies, bowling, skating, and attends Shorter College where she is completing her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
